RMF Cleans Up Community Areas

November 2, 2019

A utility company in South Central Wisconsin had a failed aerobic package plant and was in need of an alternative system. The facility plant was not only high maintenance, but it was also discharging unacceptable wastewater to a nearby recreation area, causing intense public scrutiny. Zoeller was able to work with a local engineering firm to solve this wastewater dilemma. A 40’x 70’ (12 x 21 m) recirculating media filter, capable of handling 14,000 GPD (52,996 LPD), was designed to meet their needs. Plant personnel were trained by Zoeller Pump and are now routinely monitoring and maintaining the system.
