Valve® Pressurized Splitting System for Flood Dose Applications The Zoeller Spider Valve® assembly is used to split pressurized effluent to a gravity disposal field. A pump is placed after the septic tank to pressurize the Spider Valve®. The Spider Valve® manifold assembly can then split the effluent evenly from 2 lines up to 10 lines. The Spider manifold should be installed at the highest elevation in the system. From there 1 ¼" diameter gravity discharge lines direct the effluent to the individual disposal trenches, if your local code will allow. This allows for a more profitable installation verses running 4" diameter lines from the Spider Valve® to the trenches. The manifold can be configured to use on systems that have unequal length trenches. Flow control washers are available without holes for field drilling (unequal length lines) or with ¼" diameter holes for equal length lines. ¼" holes provide 1.65 GPM per outlet at 5 of distal pressure. This allows the use of a Zoeller STEP system (see FM1550 & FM1635) in your primary septic tank instead of an extra pump tank (check local codes). The Zoeller Spider Valve® assembly is the economical answer to your needs for equal effluent distribution. FEATURES: |
